Some things to try regarding bioshock freezing...
1. In graphics options, try turning anti-aliasing down or off (renable if doesn't work) 2. Create an offline profile: . At the main game menu press "home" key on keyboard, windows live pops down. . Click "create new profile, Then click "create offline profile" . Name . press "home" key to exit windows live and your done. 3. Unplug keybaord and plug it into to a different USB port 4. Rename: C:\Users\*Username*\Documents\Bioshock2 (don't forget to rename it back if this doesn't work) 5. Colour Depth: Go to display (right click on desktop and properties) then change the colour mode from 16-bit to 32-bit (if it's not already) 6. Try setting the game in DX9: Go to Games -> Bioshock 2 -> Right click -> Launch in DX9 mode. 7. Try running in windows 2000 compatability mode: Find Bioshock2.exe, Right Click, Properties, Compatibility Mode ->Windows 2000, OK. 8. Uninstall Bioshmuck and install Bad company 2... you know you want it! -------------------- |

Eee, that's a lot of thought you've put into this ^^
Hmm, went to try the first step.... and it's working. God knows why, I hadn't actually done anything, but BS 1+2 seem to be working. I'm sure it'll start breaking again, but for now it seems fine! -------------------- My avatar is me, in a school project ('The Ringlett') |

am thinking it was either the games for windows update or the directx update last night that fixed it, but needed a restart to take effect
Good to hear it's working again Now you can go right ahead and pre-order your copy of Bad company 2 -------------------- |
