This isn't being paid for by the recent donations for the BF2 server (which will be used to cover the bf2 server cost)
I've always said I'd cover the cost of the l4d myself, however the second server is for testing (laggyness etc.,)
It's based in London and is on decent hardware, its also much cheaper than the current multiplay one.
The main reason for testing this is that windows based L4D servers are broke at the moment (hence why sorting a lobby is pain in the arse) - this server is Red Hat based, so if it works (fingers crossed) and performs well, I'll migrate all the maps and settings over and replace the existing server.
For the next month it will run as server #2
Essentailly they've given me black box access, so I've got to setup the game by hand etc., this might take a while
