The reason is fairly simple... I tried to hook the forum user accounts into a wikipedia build (allowing all users to edit a copy of wikipedia I stuck here)
The main database detected that something apart from itself had access, it tied to block the access, couldn't and so self-destructed
I'm in the process of repairing the messy messy damage this has done... expect downtime or odd errors
