my 80 yr old grandmother was heading home saturday when she ran off the road and hit some mail boxes and an electric pole. the cops came and said "they couldn't say if she had been drinking or not, but that she was definately on something". they took her to JAIL on a DUI charge and did a blood test to see what was in her system. my mom had to bail her out of jail on a $500 bond. then my mom took her to the hospital to see why she had blacked out and ran off the road. the hospital did several tests on her and there were no drugs or alchohol in her system. the reason she ran off the road is because she had a heart attack! i guess the cop that took her to jail did not have enough common fucking sense to see that when an 80 yr old woman has a wreck they should take her to the hospital and not JAIL! she just had heart surgury this morning and is now recovering.

sounds like police the world over are pretty much the same

you would have thought if someone said they'd blacked out they'd be taken to hospital first (where you could always do a blood/urine test on them there) to be checked out, not the other way round.

Anyway hope she's feeling better.

seems like they are always having problems with Police in America. Lots of incidents including assault and stuff.
