To mourn the passing of Michael jackson, I've added a replacement of the lighthouse video at the start of L4D with 'Thriller'

You can download it from:

Browse to your

"steam\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\media" ... (e.g. c:\program files\steam\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\media)

folder and rename the l4d_lighthouse_bg01.bik to something else

Next, go to your common\left 4 dead\left4dead\sound\UI folder and rename the gamestartup1.mp3 file to defaultgamestartup1.mp3.

(this removes the music that plays at the beginning)

as a side note I was terrified by this video as young child..

this has been out for months, how dare you take the credit

I wasn't taking the credit... probably should have been more clear that I've added the files to this website for download, not that I made the files themselves.

That being said I can make these types of file easily enough... so if anyone has a suitable video file they would want to replace the lighthouse video then let me know
