I have just come back to the game after not playing for over a year. I had a KØF member tag but I'm not member of KØF anymore. I had just forgotten to remove it from my username. I had played a few games before I was IP banned and someone had said "!alias shadow" before the ban. I don't remember what that means at all.

Again, I've just come back after not playing for over a year and really have nothing to do with KØF anymore.

Edit: I just saw the forum talking about the intense beef between SF and KØF. I honestly had no idea such a thing happened between the two servers. I understand the ban is set to permanent so I also understand if the appeal is rejected.

The !alias command will tell them your previous usernames. They were probably doing that to help decide whether they should instantly apply the ban. Or to ban you after watching how you behaved.

Because of the many issues, we are currently banning every kof member that ventures to the server. We will also ban anyone we believe maintains strong links to that group. We can do this remotely, but it pleases us to do it in person.

The ban will only be released if the admin that placed it considers it appropriate.

We do ban KOF members, because of their constant trolling, advertisings and many other atrocities that they committed on our game server and outside of our game server that I am not going to list here. Hello. For several years I was banned by IP on sneakymonkeys. I don't remember exactly when and how I was banned, but I guess because of the FFA, because at that time I was a noob who had just entered the game. And, because your server is the only one with stable online and TO, please consider the option of unbanning for my person, of course I will follow the rules of the server. Thanks in advance

Hello again. I've been trying to enter the server for the second day, again it's written about the IP ban, which i really don't understand. I myself left the server, no one kicked. Regarding the behavior: wrote to the chat quite rarely, random TK happened (due to an full server, of course), but not more often than any other player, and there was no intentional TK at all. Not once have i been expelled by anyone's vote. Especially since some of SM were on the server almost all the time i played there, maybe someone will confirm my words. And if there were incidents - i'm sure they would let me know, for example, with a kick.
I have absolutely no idea what i could be banned for, so i wanted to write it here and find out the reason. Thanks

Sounds like we'll have to check the server config files in order to remove this stubborn ban. It will have to be done sometime in the early morning UK time because the server has to be stopped in order to do it, which means we need to wait when there are little to no players on the server. I'm sorry this has taken awhile but we'll try and make sure this gets solved properly.

Your ban should be removed now, I think the reason why it came back on its own the first time was because our server has an in game bot which has an unban command, and I think it's unban doesn't stay properly when the server restarts. I've managed to remove it from the config now so try and join.

I just checked the config again and for some reason the ban I removed has returned, I have no idea why though... My guess is a previous version of the config was restored for some reason. I've removed the ban again, hopefully it doesn't get restored again.

Should be unbanned again now. Server access seems to be a bit wonky so it might be that it was undoing my edit for some reason. Nevertheless hopefully third time is the last time now.

No, you shouldn't have been banned again by an admin intentionally, since it was decided that you should be unbanned. Something else has probably happened which has indirectly restored the ban again, for example restoring the config file from an older backup (This has to be done sometimes such as when the current config file becomes corrupted). Keep that in mind just in case it for some reason happens again (Hopefully not anytime soon )

you guys ignore my question to getting unban, more than 3 month now...sadly, and not the first time...i got no negative history ingame, I wasn't even voted out of the game, i never was racist, trolling, pervert, or disrespecting an admin on your server in years...i am an ex KoF member now! more you can read in Bans & Ban Appeals - unban WONDERWOMAN
