I've recently been playing a LOT of Blackwake, and so far, I love it.
I noticed there is an SM-server that is active at times, and I was wondering if there are plans for some competitive/organized play of any kind. If so, how do I get in on the fun?
I'm around level 21/22 and have tried my hand at captaining both the Galleon and the Hoy. My specialty is sniping enemy captains with my musket from the Crows nests.
Would love to get a group together, so we can learn from each other, obliterate our enemies and drink several bottles/kegs of rum!

I wouldn't call Blackwake competitive lol, at least not yet seeing how many bugs and glitches there are in that game.
True enough. I'm mainly looking for a group of people to start discussions, share ideas and tactics, etc.

Me and my chiv boys have been playing on full crew, tryharding and garbing other ships. Since it's PvP, pretty much everything is pure competition for us.
Looking forward to new updates cause the game looks really promising with active developers.

Likewise I've been playing a bit the other day. The server itself is paid for by me rather than out of any clan funds, so there's not really been any decision made on it's setup (other than my usual as long as it stays popular I'll keep it running)
More in relation to admins - All existing SM members can be admins on there, but I've added a couple of non-SM people as admins too (basically people that I know from other games who can be trusted not to be massive anuses)
I'm seeing if there's much I can do from the admin/mod side - it's an engine I'm not overly familiar with and it looks like there's literally no external hooks in it yet (not surprising for an alpha game).
As fo rthe mention of bugs, maybe I'm just lucky but I haven't seen a single bug in that game so far

If you're in need of an active, trustworthy admin for the server, I'd be happy to lend a hand.
