Hi,
I've just been banned for 1 hour because my name was Gavur, which literally means heretic or infidel in turkish. It is a word with bad connotation(as much as the word heretic. It runs a little deeper in the turkish language in some backward places of turkey) but it certainly isn't an insult(it would really be a laughable one). I would like to keep my username in the chivalry server because I like it.
Thank you.

Did you check your language dictionary ?
"Gavur" means saying to someone " an outlander " with shitty way.It is offensive word. Also it states Greek's around 15th to 18th century as an insult. It is urban word in Turkish language which is very offensive.
Also it is forbidden to use it after 1856 when Ottaman Empire making reform.Imagine that an Empire forbids to use it.

It was an insult back then but not anymore and it gained the meaning "outlander" later. Nowadays, I don't think it has that much of an offensive meaning(and I think that those who use it as an insult are very conservative people). However, you make the rules and I don't think I can change your view on this so I will change my name for this server.
Thank you.
