Full Version: Autobalance periods?

Hey,

The current autobalance period is set to 45 seconds of imbalance before it switches someone. Often what we see is someone leave, then the server plans a switch then someone else joins and people end up getting moved around frequently.

One option on this is to set the server to 90 seconds - it'll mean the server can stay out of balance longer but should slow down the amount of autobalance switches.

Anyway, any opinions?

60 seconds should be fine i think.

Is there any autobalance settings like higher lvl players at mason = higher lvl players at agatha ?

or can we stop switching teams -like- after 5 min later when the game started ?

Many people want to be part of winning team so switching their teams and game starting to switch top players of winning team to losing one.It is becoming annoying then most players leaving game or giving up for battle. tongue.gif

nope the two options are death based autobalance and random autoabalance.

While the death based one might seem like a good idea, it tends to cause confusion as people are swapped when they spawn (as opposed to normal autobalance, where you get a message that you're being switched to the other team) - the death based one often leads to people not realising they've been switched and usually killing plenty of their teammates tongue.gif

Lies!

Broken in the sense that some people keep getting switched around. I've seen multiple complaints coming by of people getting switched by autobalance more than once in a game. I'll ask them if that's really the case of whether the last one just stuck with them.
