I`m Myrmidon (or even.... "The_Myrmidon"... if ya wanna be posh ;p) came across your clan whilst looking for L4D1 & 2 players and clans.
I certainly hope that there is still some interest here for those games as I play them about 12 hours every week. If I dont... I get the shakes and shivers.... not a pretty sight ;-0
I also play other games such as BF2 - BF2BC (even BF2142) - COD1 - COD2 - COD4 (MW1) - COD5 (WAW) - COD6 (MW2) Black Ops and the Medal of Honor games from the start.
I am 53 years young (& I will be 54 years younger this September ;p - so I hope you dont have an upper age limit...lol) I have played games from the start of the ping pong age, ahhhh the joys of my old commodore 64. But only multiplayer since 2006 when my village got broadband making multiplayer gaming feasible for my area (& computer).
I have a wicked and unusual sense of humour (sarcastic some people say others say I`m a pi**taker!!) ;-)
Been in a few clans (only 3 really!) but looking for a clan that plays my L4D series quite seriously, that likes to play during the week but particularly on a weekend (with severall beers and lots of fun ;-0)
And being an old fart (yes I know I am ;p) a clan that is helpful and friendly as anything that isnt steam driven (not the game facilitator but the wet stuff...lol) just confuses the h*ll out of me!!
So as the vicar said to the actress be gentle with me!!! (& thats the clean version of that saying...lol).
I have looked through your website but couldnt find a listing for your L4D server(s) but managed to figure out your Teamspeak channel so hopefully catch you all on there over the weekend.

I'm sure monkey will reply with his wisdom at some point, until then just keep an eye out on TS. The clan is in a bit of a lull at the moment, waiting for battlefield 3, but most of us are up for some zombie killing goodness any time so give us a shout if you spot us!

Welcome to the site. As mentioned above we're in a bit of a lull at the moment - we origianlly played BF2 then moved onto L4D/L4D2 which we played to death (got a little repetetive) and then on to BF BC2 which wasn't quite the BF2 replacement we'd hoped for. At the moment we're not really focused on any single game, as we're mostly waiting for the upcoming release of BF3, however people are still playing BC2/L4D/L4D2 and a bunch of other games.. so obviously the lack of current activity round here might not be what you're looking for (although I'd expect it to get busy closer to BF3!)

I don't think we're running a permanent L4D server at the moment - we did have 4 but let them go as they just weren't being used (during a horrible period where people started playing lord of the rings online) but I think one of our members has their own server that linked to our steam group*

I too started my gaming on a C64 (albeit a brief foray with the zx48 and an atari 2600).. fondly remember the likes of creatures and fantasy world dizzy. These modern games are abit crap compared to them

Anyway if you're still interested in joining, let us know and if you think you're looking for something different then good luck in you quest (although come visit our bf3 server's when that's out )
