I've hacked up a feature from the Lotro MMO DB to work in our IPB forums, so that you can link to lotro ingame items directly in the forum.

You can now use the following tags to list a lotro item:



e.g.



will display as:

[item]Elven Tough Leather Helm of Determination[/item]

The items have tool tips (if you hover the mouse over them) displaying stats etc., and you can click on them to be taken directly to the entry in the Lotro MMO Database.

Please note the name within the item tags has to be completely correct or it wont display. This means any Correct capital letters, punctuation and spaces where necessary e.g. 'Shining Root Club' works but 'shining root club' will not

Some items exist that have the same name but different levels, e.g. Painted Shell (42) entering Painted Shell alone will not display anything

also please note this is only as good as the Lotro MMO database... noticed newer items like Bregloch don't exist in it.
At the moment we're limited to mmob DB. Allakazam refused to release their stat feeds and fekking turbine are only willing to to US customers. Wankers. :/
