Being a fan of Pizza myself i thought it was time to find out what is the tastiest Italian delight for our palettes biggrin.gif
Magik6
lol, you're going to make fox angry. You know my opinion anyway.
K.
hmm you voted Asda?? i tho you would have been straight in for the Sainsbury's
fido77
i had to go with dominoes since i only know of dominoes and pizza hut on that list, and pizza hut sucks tongue.gif
Magik5
actual takeaways would be dominos as theyre a little cheaper than pizza hut

but cook yourself would definitly be asdas special biggrin.gif
K.
Well Dominos is the best imho, the quality of the crust (chewy + tasty) combined with Garlic + Herb dip is simply put ........Divine!

My fave variety has been Texas BBQ for many a year now, and would knock the soxx off anything that the windy city has to offer biggrin.gif

Altho it can be expensive about £10, they also do a BOGOF every Tuesday which halves the price biggrin.gif

If it ain't Tuesday and I've seriously got the pizza munchies, I'll go for a Sainsburys TTD as the hot salami version is pretty tasty
Qrbrrbl
Much as I like Pizza Hut, it has to be Dominos, purely for the dip. I could eat pretty much anything with that dip...

Although I do like the chicago town stuffed crust pizzas too, can be a bit messy biggrin.gif
HYPOBOXER
WTF is this? Are we running market research now?
=R6= Raile
K wants more of you lot posting on the website, so he's scraping the bottom of the barrel with his pizza question! wink.gif

but anyway.. where is the vote for like, you know, an actual italian restaurant??? i'd sooner get takeaway from an italian restaurant then eat of that above crap!
K.
thnx raile...i think tongue.gif

your more than welcome to do a restaurant vote, but the prob is a pizza usually costs about 5-10 quid while your looking at 20-40 for restaurant food :/, so it's kind of in a diff bracket
Qrbrrbl
Not really, most restaurants tend to sell pizza's for around £10. Or at least they do near me...
Lawpf2001
dominoes is good for a takeaway. Sainsburys are good if its shop bought as are chicagotown takeaway ones. But best places for pizzas are usually small italian restaurants there's one in swindon called Il Bottelinos where they do awesome pizzas at lunch time for £5

methinks morrisons/sainsburies are UK based supermarkets

Asda is Walmart though

I quite like the chicago town stuffed crust pizzas. I also quite like the falvouring on the dr. oatker mushroom ones

Chisel
Definately Dominos, Pizza Hut is horrible greasy crap and shop bought pizzas are generally pretty badly put together. I agree with K's sentiments on Texas BBQ as well, although Big Smoky is good as well. I often do a half and half of those two biggrin.gif I feel Pizza Express has been forgotten though, they do some lovely pizzas.

A good pizza restaurant will put the whole lot of those to shame of course.
MonkeyFiend
the last pizza restaurant I went to was Pizza Express where I've been consistently disappointed with everything they offer tongue.gif
Qrbrrbl
I keep meaning to try Pizza Express actually, never got round to it. To be honest though, I find myself mostly disappointed with pizza's in proper restaurants with a few exceptions.
Qrbrrbl
<whoops, double post, delete me>
Pandora92
Small authentic Italian down the road from me, amazing pizzas and extremely good value, what more could you want? Beats the hell out of any supermarket pizzas or anything from Domino's or Pizza Hut. biggrin.gif wink.gif

lol, yet another futurama plug tongue.gif. I have to say part of the reason I went with the ASDA one is because it's the best compromise between taste and price.

Oh for fuck sake. This is like one of those conversations with two old dears in a bus stop. Its the end of days. Im putting the shotgun in my mouth and pulling the trigger.

smile.gif Domino's and Pizza Hut are the best, but Domino's has hair in food... dry.gif
K.
i have been told on good authority that the "sloppy Guiseppe" brand of pizza's stocked by Morrisons are infact made by Pizza Express!

i'm gonna have to try one now biggrin.gif

You can admit how wrong you were to me whenever you're ready.

I'll wager the only two people to vote "other" were Monkey and a certain woman holding a rolling pin tongue.gif

lollingite, the public are wrong! I've seen skid marks that look more appealing than that shitcargo town pizza.
Kadey
This is probably going to cause a blue moon or something. But I agree with 6.

I voted other for authentic pizzas! laugh.gif

Magik6
So that makes one vote towards shitcargo town, and as K an I were discussing earlier the sainsbury's, asda and morrisons brands are blatantly made in the same place. So the vote for sainsbury's and asda outweigh your gay pizza victory.png.
