As mentioned in the shoutbox, it's now possible to play the l4d maps on l4d2 (with a choice of l4d1/2 weapons etc.,)

However I've also setup a single file package to download: http://sneakymonkeys.com/l4d1on2.zip (ready to download now)

(unzip this to your left4dead2 directory - usually /steam/steamapps/common/left4dead2/left4dead2)

I've uploaded the unpacked version of this 1.8gb (!) to server #4 to play on

a quick taster:









My opinion so far is that using ANY melee weapons makes this incredibly unbalanced. Will probably look to remove them

looks good though, will have to try and organise a proper vs with this hopefully tonight

just got round to this, copied all the files in the correct places - and installed the addon support under tools, and i get this when trying to create a game:



says the same for vs as well

any ideas?
