I had expected to see something that would do something to players who constantly spam t-t-t-tank tank tank throughout a round ( or screaming or pills here etc)

However I couldn't find a decent plugin that worked correctly, so have written one and uploaded to both servers.

I've set it so a person can use a voice command like 'Argh','Hurry up' etc., 3 times in 5 seconds.

If they try and use voice comms more than 3 times in 5 seconds they are muted for 10 seconds

As with most buggy thing I churn out this needs to be tested. If it turns out to be horrible I can disable it or set different values for the spam intervals e.g. 5 times in 10 seconds muted for 30 seconds etc.,

narp this is separate to voice comms, so cobolt is still safe

this just blocks those who use the ingame voice binds like "TANK!" at a rate of approx 50 per second for hours at a time.

well i was just on and tried it with atty and myself

but nothing stopped us spamming

It's a miracle something is working :S

Had some truly bizarre goings on on the servers of late - mostly connecting from a lobby, the server resets to the a normal skill coop on the default map e.g. crash course on server #1. From a bit of playing around I've unloaded all the sourcemod/metamod stuff and it still happens; but not everytime.

It particularily seems to cock up if starting to join a lobby for a game where the server is already set to that game e.g. if the server is on NM1 and you start a lobby for DT1, BH1 etc., then this works most of the time. If you start a lobby for NM1 then it tends to revert to the normal coop default map.

My gut feeling is to look at the latest sourcemod and metamod methingies for this.

I'm going to rebuild server #1 from scratch, so it will be up and down today. Server #2 should technically be working :s
