Just wondered if anyone else was going to give Archeage a try when it comes out on the 16th of september. It seems similar to World of Warcraft which never appealed to me but its a free to play and whats the harm in trying right?
The reason i ask anyway is because it says you set up guilds and the like so if any of you were going to play it then it might be worth us all starting a "sneakymonkey" guild or something. |

I probably won't try it. I'm not a huge fan of RPG's and with college assignments pressing down on me, I doubt I'd have the time for it, especially next to Chivalry and the occasional Minecraft game.

I have played some mmo games in the past (primarily Lotro and Eve and a bit of guildwars1/2) this seems like it oculd have some potential but not sure if I've the time to devote to hardcore levelling. Might pick it up for some casual games though

I'm pretty occupied with WoW at the moment but I may try it someday.

Watched the trailer, really wasnt ver impressed. Then again these types of mmo's all look the same to me, just looks bland and uninteresting. Mmo's in general isnt my type of thing, have only played two, Ultima online and EVE. EVE I played for many years as it's such a special game and very different.
Edit: I HAVE been meaning to try the old republic for a long time, but only because I understand you can play it as a single player game and because I loved kotor 1 and 2 so much. |

The next everquest should be good. I chat to the devs from time to time, well did during my planetside time. Landmark is out, or open beta, it will be like minecraft mixed with a decent mmo.
