Hi,

This is a post for people wanting to join. Our basic rules are:

No intentional TKing
No Racist language

The intentional team killing rule is pretty simple, we ask that admins use discretion on dealing this - blatant TKing may get a ban, but it might be wise to question the player, warn them, kick them or temporarily ban first.

Firstly:

Server Rules - the full list of server rules

Clan rules (Covers everything not server related, Would not advise reading unless masochistic )

To join:

You must not have a history of cheats - PBbans/VACbans etc.,
You must have played on our servers for a reasonable amount of time*
We ask that admins use =SM= tags when on the SM server. People need to know who the admins are on the servers. You're welcome to not use the tags on other servers/games


IMPORTANT:
* we tend to recruit regulars on the server, as it's more likely we'll have more chat history to go on and it allows current admins to see what they're like and judge if they'd fit in. If you've not logged 30+ hours on the SM servers (and at least 200+ hours in chivalry), we may ask to postpone the recruitment. Recruitment works by means of a majority clanwide vote. So if you've not played on the server much and don't know the admins, it's likely you'd not be accepted (as the majority would vote 'abstain'). This just helps to ensure that people know each other and people generally get on with everyone else in the clan

Note: We take admin power abuse seriously. If an admin is caught abusing their powers e.g. kicking/banning someone for reasons not in the rules. They may be ejected from the clan. It's important that you know in advance that if you are removed from admin, you will also be banned on all servers (as a means of preventing confusion and trouble.) - We've only had to do this a handful of times in chivalry


If we've not scared you away yet:

Make a post about joining and say a little about yourself

Generally speaking we'll then check out your history and then we'll wait a few days to run it past existing clan members. Clan members technically have veto over people joining, so if you've rubbed someone up the wrong way, you may be declined. This just helps ensure that everyone does actually get on in the clan and there is less bickering

So the important bit here: Since the recruitment is based on yes votes from existing members, if you apply to join and have logged minutes on our servers or the existing admins have no idea who you are then you're unlikely to be accepted (or we might postpone it until existing members have gotten to know you a bit better). Our recruitment rate is currently less than 40% so don't worry if we need additional time to get to know you.
