interesting to know what the pc specs are for it, bet its like core2 or above, and 2gb+ ram

specs won't be set until the content is in the game. DX10 will be supported, as will DX9

Grab the Assault trooper and pray he's packed an RPG launcher. Guns, And More Guns Every soldier needs a weapon, and Battlefield 3 will be chock full of firearms, 34 in fact, split evenly between the MEC and NATO. You'll have to work for the privilege of sporting the most powerful rifles. As well as weapons, you'll unlock armour, ammo, helmets and accessories. Play Together The best feature of Battlefield 2. Sharing objectives and voice chat with friends as five-man squads. That's being extended, with squads able to join up to form a battalion - the perfect partner for improved clan support and ranked servers. As for what the clan does, we'll do things by votes as usual - but will of course see how good the game is when its out.
From a personal standpoint, I don't believe multi-game clans works as well as more focussed groups sharing a common interest. I've seen many 'multi-game' clans where they'll have members playing FPS shooters like bf2 and some playing WoW who will never even speak to each other. By the time BF3 comes out, the bf2 community will be even smaller, more damaged by hacks and the tech will be old. I think it's more likely we'd move to bf3 providing it is a good game. Technically we could have moved to COD4, but its a big fat steaming pile of poop. At least one thing I can tell you - bf3 will have a hell of a lot better anti-cheat checks, although will still be using PB. (@ea if you're reading this: much better if you'd pay for some of the AC tech than try and scav them for free. Shame on you!) /bitch -------------------- |

It's 10:15am on 16/05/08 and there is some stirrings around EA of an official battlefield annoucement.
