My Lambretta Grand Prix 250cc
Top speed 85mph (de-tuned due to exhaust system used).
More details here...here & here.

Unlike most of you 'Power Rangers' mine has done the miles. From sunny East Yorkshire, England to Strasbourg, Amsterdam, Borculo, aswell as the length and breadth of the UK for the last 20 years.
As far north as Fort William and as far south as Newquay. I also went for a spin to Dundalk (Ireland) on it last year. Took three hours to get from the ferry port at Holyhead to sunny Goole, 190 miles).

Puts flak jacket on and gets prepared for abuse...... rolleyes.gif

lol, I'll try and go easy on you skutaboy tongue.gif

Man you've done the miles on that bad boy, but I've always thought its better to have your legs wrapped around your bike than on a platform. Its good to have the power though, wouldn't like to top out at 30mph.

How long have you been riding for? Its goint to be a good week to spend on the bikes biggrin.gif

How long have you been riding for?

I passed my full bike test in 1984, went out to celebrate, got absolutely hammered, woke up in the nightclub toilet at stupid o'clock, asked owner to ring me a taxi even though the nightclub had been closed a while. He then said he would take me the 5 miles home in his own car and ended up taking me to the police station on suspicion of breaking in and entering the building, (tosser). I was banged up for the rest of the night and released the next day with no charge.

Oh happy days.

Anyway, next bank holiday in 3 weeks, I'm riding upto Kelso in Scotland for an alcohol induced weekend. Its the same weekend as the Skegness rally but I went there last year.
The year before, I was undecided whether to go to Skegness OR kelso and ended up doing both rallies in one weekend. Upto Kelso on the Friday and straight down to Skeggy on the Sunday.
Got there approx 6pm, got wasted, returned to the bed & breakfast at 5.30 am, woke up and rode home which was only 90 miles, but a long 90 miles.... sad.gif

Did approx 600 miles that weekend with a heavy hang-over.

lol, what a mission. The longest rides I've done is to take my bike to a garage to dry store it over winter. On the journey there and back my bike broke down both times. Bloody Italian bikes sad.gif first time it was my gear lever and the second it was my clutch cable. It gets pretty uncomfortable on my bike as I'm too tall for a 125 and my knees rest against the frame so to be honest I wouldn't want to do another big ride on it. But I will when I get my 600 biggrin.gif

Had a tumble today sad.gif

Was going round a left hand corner at about 25 and was too low, low sided the bike and scratched my leg up.

The side stand is fucked so everytime I put it into gear it cuts out, and the gear lever has been eroded into nothing lol

A large rocket strapped to your back would also be cheaper and much faster than a TVR and astin martin...

Its also probably safer than motorbike tongue.gif
