Hi,

A couple of days ago I got banned from your Chivalry server (SneakyMonkeys.com Limited Archer High Tick TC) for racism for quoting the line "NIGGA NIGGA NIGGGA NIGGA I'M 100% NIGGA" wheras I was obviously joking and it was not aimed at anyone. So I wonder why the admin took offense by this because I'm actually a black man myself. I understand that there are rules for racism but there is no need to get offended by these kind of *jokes*, if I can have a laugh at them why can't you? Anyways, would be greatful if you could unban me.

The rule is: no racist language, for any reason. You used racist language and got banned.

Doesn't matter if you're black yourself, doesn't matter if you're just joking, you get banned for the use of racist language.

And the admin who gave the ban probably wasn't particularly offended, he was just doing his job as an admin.

That's the point, it's not racist. If I'd say i'm 100% white I'd get banned too for saying the word "white"? Please make this world a better place and stop considering the world "nigger" racist. Many fewllow black people use it all the time, it's not a big deal.

You're right saying white isn't racist and neither would be calling yourself black but that's not what you said is it. Your friend that asked about you in the server has already been told the ban isn't being lifted.

Second, there's always people trying to get as close to being racist as possible without actually being racist. A popular one is to ask "If I call someone [incredibly offensive slur], would that be racist?" Most of the time they're not asking a question, they just want to test the limits of the rule and our patience. We don't like those people and see no use for such questions or racist words in general so we've decided to just forbid all of it on our servers. Obviously, we can't have any exceptions to this rule, which resulted in your ban.

Now, you can either like it or hate it, the ban still stands. No amount of discussion is going to change that so I suggest you don't try and get on with your life.

Wow it's incredible how retarded some people can be. The word "nigger" is NOT racist, therefore no reason to ban someone in the first place. Nigger comes from "Negro" meaning the color black. Please stop refering to your silly rules if you don't stick to them yourself, you're a fucking disgrace. It's amazing how some people handle racism as a bunch of dictators, simply banning a bunch of words that they can connect to racism inside their mentally disabled head. I highly recommand people like you to take a shower to get rid of the sand in your vaginas.

Regarding context e.g you being black yourself. Understand that this is one of the most common excuses used. Therefore to sidestep this the rules simply state racist language = ban. You use racist language for any reason and you get a ban.

Whether you personally find something racist is irrelevant. We have several members of different ethnicities here and the rules regarding no racist language were voted on by the majority. As a guest on the server your opinion means nothing, you're simply expected to follow this basic rule (which also exist on all the official servers too, even though it's not enforced as much due to lack of admins)

At the end of the day if you'd had the common sense or basic courtesy to come here and say 'sorry' & 'that you'd follow the rules in future' the ban probably would have been lifted.

However having read you posts the ban will be copied to both servers and remain permanent.
