There is a difference between shooting a gun into the air and shooting it into a crowd. Likewise using a racist word is not racist unless phrased in such a way. Even non-racist words can be made to be racist, because ultimately words are just words. They only have power if you give them power. Just a little advice for the future, that and not to perma ban people for disagreeing with your opinions. |

Is it so hard to follow a simple rule ?
No racism. Even if it's not meant to be racism, it still is racism. If you shoot any racists (even if they just said it for "fun"), you'll notice the crowd will start to avoid having "fun" this way. The yellow text actually acts as "shooting in the air" (reminder of rules) I don't think it's a bad idea to get rid of them. It's not actually hard to avoid using those words... |

How many times do i need to say i didn't use racist language, my friend did. As far as i'm aware banning people for not breaking the rules means the admin is a cunt. I was astounded that i got kicked and my friend didn't, he can still play on your servers to this day...

I banned two guys recently, one for saying the 'n word' and another one for spamming it in chat. The rules are clear, racist language (NOT just racism, racist language too) is a ban (duration up to the admin discretion, I checked with MonkeyFeind when I was new). Mostly because I'm sort of lazy but also because I really don't appreciate racist language, I just use the console to permaban.

Again i was neither racist or used racist language I was discussing the rules with the admin. Along the lines of just because you say a racist word doesn't make you a racist. The whole debate was around the 'n' word which maybe 20 years or more ago was considered highly offensive, but nowadays, in some circles isn't deemed to be racist at all. The issue is hazy at best and being ban happy in a online enviroment where most chatter is flippant and immature seems over the top. The only reason i persist with this is because i firmly believe i did nothing wrong and it was the admin being a dick. Its a shame because i have enjoyed playing on your servers for several months previously without any incident.

To clarify both players used racist language and will be permanently banned on both servers. (When the ban update script runs tmrw or Tuesday)
