No-one had posted this yet so I thought I might as well, some of those changes look pretty awesome, it's about time. Also Demize has hinted in the forums we might be getting a G3 buff, fuck yeah. Oh also: Server - Idle kick is controllable Server - Profanity filter can be disabled Server - Teamkill-kick system is controllable Server - Ticket counts and bleed rate are controllable per-level Server - Infantry only mode available per-level Server - Initial spawn delay and respawn delay are adjustable if you see this Monkey, any plans to change the servers we should know about? ^^ SQDM could use infantry only IMO, and I hope the profanity filter goes. -------------------- |

i've had a quick squiz and i'll prob update this post to reflect my findings with some possible ideas later Idle Kick this will come in super handy for users whom leave pc on all day it will help greatly in kicking off a server Kick on Demand Not sure how this works, maybe a bf2 vet can fill in the details on how that worked? Inf Only this could be a solution for our 2 servers, maybe one inf only and one mixed maps and vanilla toggle zoom/crouch finally i've been w8'n for ages on this one D: Still NOT fixed the sodding friends list ffs EA I have more than 20 friends!!!!!!!!!! and i would like to be able to join games on friends further down my friends-list from pos10 onwards ....... -------------------- WIP...

Kick on Demand Not sure how this works, maybe a bf2 vet can fill in the details on how that worked? dont think we had this on our server but it sounds pretty self explanitory - i guess youd have a list of clan members/trusted friends and if anyone on this list tried to join when the server was full it would boot someone so they could join... -------------------- |

"The Balance tweaks are as follows:
Slightly increased the damage of the UZI at long range. The AKs74u now has more felt recoil when aiming. The G3, VSS, and all SemiAutomatic rifles now settle slightly faster between shots when aiming. The PKM, Type 88LMG, G3, An94, and 40mm shotgun have returned to their former glory. Increased the damage of the MG3 to bring it in line with the rest of the LMGs. Fixed a bug where the Saiga12 with slugs would do too much damage at long range. Fixed a bug where the SVU would do too little damage at long range. Fixed a bug where M95 rounds would not kill armored targets with headshots. " Oh snap, can't wait to get in some good old G3 loving. I'm also really excited for the queue system tbh, a lot of the time I wanted to join one of the servers and it was full, and rather than being next on the list to join you just need to keep checking it randomly. Personally I don't see vehicles as being much of a problem on rush or conquest, sure it feels cheap to get killed by them sometimes but all the maps are still fairly balanced with them, especially with some of you guys shanking them with rpgs. On SQDM though since it really IS an infantry only game type I think it would be better without them, there's nothing more annoying than someone driving the tank all the way up to the edge of the map, gathering his 3 squad members with repair tools to heal him, and then sniping down with the tank, just my opinion though. And helicopters might be useful again, w00t! -------------------- |

although the server settings will go down to clan votes, I'm guessing based on the BF2 days...
Removal of swear filter (but add auto-banning for racism) idle kick time increased (helps get the servers started) as mentioned elsewhere I can imagine 1 main server being used for vehicles rush/cq and one being used for inf only, the third being used for whatever Good list of changes though -------------------- |
