Thought I'd post with some minor changes on the server/website. If anyone has any comments/suggestions on these please let me know.
1. Updated in-game messages to clarify use of clays on flags/spawns since this seems to be the most commonly asked question at the moment. 2. Fixed issue where the webhosts were blocking 'unusual' ftp traffic. Basically demos were being blocked, they should now upload correctly. 3. Added an additional 6 md5 checks from everyones favourite hacksite, these will result in a local ban only. 4. Added additional lock out to forums so repeated login attempts will temporarily disable an account and will log the times/IP's and mail me. Set the forum to allow logins via proxy, however the site will now analyse headers against previously banned accounts and add these to a blocked list after redirecting the user somewhere fun. 5. Have adapted the 'oculus' script (.6.2.1.1) that was being tested for PB - this is the script used to mathematically analyse battlerecorder files. Although its not for public consumption I've added the .6.2.3.1 build (monachus-oculus ) to the server to analyse a random selection of demo files. These will not be FTPd and will stay on the server for manual checking (results may be concatenated to the files and cause playback squffiness when problems are detected). It is a slightly tweaked version of the one used on the BR tournament. 6. Have removed public access to PB screenshots, all members should still have access through server.sneakymonkeys.com 7. Have updated an MSN status plugin that will set your status message with the IP of the bf2 server you're currently on. Am testing this at the moment 8. Have removed access for people to post as guests. To post in any area of the forum you must create an account. If there are issues with these changes then let me know and I can roll them back cheers, MonkeyFiend -------------------- |
