Good Day/Evening,
I was permanently banned roughly a year ago for intentionally teamkilling at spawn on Battleground TO. The situation was (if memory serves me right) that I was in the attacking Agatha-Knights Team, with a couple of seconds left on the clock and the objective no longer being achievable. Seeing this, I started randomly striking teammates close to spawn (after having spawned in), thinking that it won't matter since they wouldn't be able to get to the objective or enemy team anyway. An admin saw this and banned me. I very clearly understand that circumstances regarding the objective don't give you a blank slate to grief, but I would make the case that a distinction should be drawn between griefing to ruin other people's fun and disrupt the game on one hand, and jokingly striking teammates when the game has reached a full-gone conclusion. I was not aware at the time that this kind of behavior would still be severe enough to violate the rules and warrant a permanent ban. My argument for considering my appeal (in spite of the fact that I had just been unbanned after a very long time) is that I did not act in a malignant fashion to ruin the game for other's, but rather in an admidettedly slightly unhinged way to eek out a little silly joy before the match ended.
