Commander guide for BF2.
Once you are commander, pull up the commander screen by pressnig 'caps' Firstly the commander screen: In the commander screen you'll have buttons for scan/artillary/uav/supplies (medic box thing) - click a button and then click on the map to drop the selected item roughly in the place where you click. Artilillary is not available in infantry only. Some of the text changes depending on your language setup e.g. some people may see 'Fabrik' instead of 'Factory' If you right click on the map you can zoom in - you can usually also use the mouse wheel for this. The other menu options on the right click menu can be used to send your teams to various points on the map to attack or defend etc., They can also be used as shortcuts for dropping supplies/UAV/scans etc., The buttons for squads/kits etc., allow you to send specific squads to areas of the map e.g. squad 1 to hotel, squad 2 to suburb or can be used for sending specific kit groups e.g. Engineers to the karkand bridge for demolitions. Just below the main buttons for uav etc., there is a box that shows either a green V or a red X - this shows whether the squad leader has accepted or refused your command. If you scan, enemy will show up as red dots on your map - your team will not see these. You will need to spot them (by right clicking and spot) - although be careful of spotting too many enemy as people complain about commander spotting spam. Don't spot people under a UAV (as these do show up to your team) thats the basic of commander functions MonkeyFiend -------------------- |

yep - it is indeed the total average of your team (or 2x that if you're on the winning side)
It only averages time spent as commander so if you get 30 points soloing and then 10 minutes before the end become commander, you'll then finish with the 30 points + avg score of team averaged over the time you spent as commander e.g. whatever the team averaged over that 10 minutes. You still see it occasionally when people try to mutiny a winning commander just before the end of the round, thinking that they can replace them and get 2x their score. This isn't the case -------------------- |
