So, situation being, I was banned sometime in May for inadvertently spoiling <insert popular TV series here>, and then after the ban (apparently unintentionally) expiring sometime in August, I was today re-banned out of the blue, mid game, for disrespecting an admin. (or rather to re-establish the original ban that was inadvertently lifted, as I have learned).
Now, I don't believe I was disrespecting the admin who was responsible for me being banned personally, although I definitely vocalized my disagreement of the ban itself, or rather how the situation was handled, at the time it happened. If I did disrespect you personally, I'm sorry, that wasn't my intention and was heat-in-the-moment-type-deal. Though I maintain the the situation that led to the original ban was handled very poorly (could have just warned me verbally and I'd never have spoiled anything again, no ban or second warning required at all). Needless to say, I now, as I did then, know not to accidentally spoil <insert popular TV series here>, and I won't do it again. Kind regards, GNU/Interior.Crocodile.Alligator, STEAM_0:1:3250574, long time player, first time ban appeal caller. I'll accept your judgement. |

QUOTE As far as I know the ban is permanent. Well that sucks. I agree that spoiling isn't okay, but I'd also say that I'm a reasonable person and that a simple "Do that again and you're banned" warning/kick would have been a much better way to handle this than instantly banning a then regular player. But oh well. QUOTE Do you also happen to drive a chevrolet movie theatre? Ye, but it's in the shop. |
