Greetings, for some reason a admin that signed by the name "alf" if I remember correctly has just banned me for hacking???
Between this account and my main one that i would rather not go back too i have over 500h on your servers and played with pretty much all the sm members, im definatly not a hacker so I have no clue what this is about. Gamename: ShadowZ Steam Profile: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198390308012/ Time: 1 hour ago Circumstances: Game was outpost, i was playing with the polehammer and was in the point lead for agatha (the attacking army) no tk no team attack, nothing in chat and all of the sudden i get kicked and banned. I hope this gets cleared up fast because the only times i play chiv is on your server. Thanks in advance. |

Hello, it seems there has been a misunderstanding on my part, I, however, didn't issue the ban but given the circumstances, I'm requesting any admin to unban you.
There has been an issue with a player named Alf who would try to avoid his ban by making smurf accounts and one of them which was named exactly ShadowZ, seeing you only had 139 hours that let me believe that it was Alf Sorry for the inconvenience. -------------------- |

Bucket, thanks for the reply and clearing this up.
The last few weeks a player named "shadow" had been trolling and tking and (maybe more?) getting kicked every time he was on the server, so that was probably him and I can understand the confusion giving this ban. Im looking forward to many more hours on the SM servers! |

Hi ShadowZ,
While bucket did have input it your banning, it wasn't his ban. Our standard practice is to wait for the admin who banned you to state his or hers reasons and to make a decision whether to lift it or not. If this doesn't happen in 3 days your ban will be lifted, at least temporarily. Please note, that the admin has used a net-id ban. To lift these bans we need to restart the server, which may take some additional time. There is one more thing that I want to mention. In some games you seem to have quite high packet loss (400+ or even 900+). Normally this should be below 1. While your ping remains normal, this high packet loss makes blocking your attacks extremely difficult. There are guides out there which can help you diagnose and fix the problem. Cheers, Robin |

Robin, are you sure you have the right guy?
My ping is always around the lowest on the server and ive never have seen my packet loss over 2-3 and never even been voted for it. I heard that Duc made the ban as request by Bucket and as he already explained it was clearly a misunderstanding. Grtz, Shad |

Ok, I'll keep a eye out for it in my future sessions, I dont really know how packetloss works to be honest, would I experience myself or other people warping like hell when this hits in?
I generally dont have much trouble with lagg or warping people unles the server has 60+ ppl in it and its a closed map but then everyones ping rise aswell. I dont go by a router and im plugged in directly in my modem. Most people get voted already for a packetloss of 10 so 400-600 would have to be extremly disconfortable for other people. The only thing hat strikes me that could have anything to do with it is that last 2 weeks my internet has been acting up at times and it will cut me off for 10-30 secs before it reconnects but that usually just gets me killed or running and ending up somewhere on a wall on the other side of the map or even disconnected from server but never killing people off when this hits and everything seems to be normal after on my side, I rarely check my own packetloss though considering I've never seen it above 3. |

I'm not sure what you should see with high packet loss. I think sometimes "teleporting", but not always...
In any case, what I observed is, that you were repeatedly and consistently able to hit people through their blocks. Normally you'd need to drag to do that. And people with high ranks (normally) know how to defend against this. I didn't see much dragging, but you were still able to kill even rank 60+ players with just normal hits. Here is a good answer on reddit for the same problem: https://www.reddit.com/r/ChivalryGame/comme...t_loss/cym0nam/ You can google for more. |

Its been 3 days, can someone please unban me temporarily untill Duc comments and clears this up?
@Sir Robin, pls don't take this the wrong way but as stated before this is not my main account and I do have 1500h+ under my belt and have been playing for more then 4 years, it would be really sad to not be able to get around blocks after all that time, and you dont always need the extreme drags for that, even on the highly skilled players, I can promise you its not all hits though block caused by lagg and packetloss. If my problem with the short disconnects persist il contact my ISP for a new modem, have had no problem this weekend and never saw any packetloss so I hope it stays that way. |

Obviously I haven't read your original post carefully enough. I thought that you've played 500h total.
Now somebody, who knows how to lift net-id ban should do that, and that requires restarting the server. Sorry that I can't help with that. |
