Hello all,
I have been playing on your server for a few months and have just been banned for "hacking". I must add that I never used anything other than my abilities that I acquired over the months. No programs or the like to cheat. For this reason, I think that it is a misunderstanding and I ask for clarification. I was accused by a player for "speedhack", then banned by an admin. I do not know which admin banned me, just remember that Porsuk was present. My identification: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198420715495/ |

Yes, i issued the ban.
While people were complaning about your status during game, i have switched over as spectator and i saw that you were groundsniffing. It is not alllowed. So i did issue the ban temporarily but i put a hack note as side note to investigate further. Since whoever saw that you had speedhacking didn't provide any evidence but i saw that you were groundsniffing and some awkward movements probably caused by packetloss, it might be make think those people that you are hacking or similar. Therefore, im going to lift your ban but you have to know this, groudsniffing is not allowed. For future reference, im going to add your steam64 id here; 76561198420715495 . It might be handy in the future. -------------------- |

Thank you for lifting the ban. I was accused of playing unfairly, I would never do that, it's the first time a player accuses me of "hacking."
I confess, I probably kept my head too low while running, this can and was interpreted as "groundniffing", I regret that and will pay attention in the future to refrain. I am happy to answer any further questions. Bye and thanks, Porsuk. |

Groundsniffing is not the same as hacking (considerably more serious) so this ban should not have been made

To be more specific, excessive groundsniffing is where it crosses the line. Even then I would warn before kicking (not banning).

Groundsniffing is not the same as hacking (considerably more serious) so this ban should not have been made Temporarily banned for groundsniffing, added side note for "accuse of hacking" to further investigation to get evidence from accusers which i don't get one. Ban is lifted because there was no hacking evidence. ( while on game, i thought player can be turn off or on speedhacking while player awares an admin in present ). -------------------- |
