Yeah... what's with the desolation? Is it just because it's summer? Or is it that peeps are using other stuff for LOTRO or what?
Paula and I have been on several times and all we hear is our own heavy breathing whilst pummelling the right mouse button! Also does anyone have an issue with me still using it for BC2 (yes... I still play lol) and the odd Blood Bowl match against non clan members? I have mates who play but aren't interested in joining as a clan member for whatever reason but want to hook up and game with me occasionally and TS is far more reliable than steam's voip. If there are no objections may I create a Blood Bowl match channel? -------------------- Are we going to the same place, and if so can I come?

Yeah I have been heavily into Single player games for a while now so sitting listening to people do beard talk kind of kills the atmosphere of a stealthy assasination.

So what would bring you all back to a bit of nice teamplay? Any good games going out there at the mo? I'm still waiting for a replacement BC2 but meh....

There isn't a replacement for bc2, intact bc2 wasn't even a replacement for bf2

so why did everyone flunk onto bc2 from bf2... surely just because time/progress isn't a good enough excuse... if that's the case why are we going back to bf2?

For me BF2 was an epic game (hence managed to play 1 level (karkand) for years without getting bored). BF2 was eventually ruined by the hacks though - when the game was new there was decent anti-hack support since most of the issues were hooks within the game code itself and were better addressed by developer coding than by Punkbuster trying to pick up on them. Years later EA/Dice essentialyl gave up on BF2 and hacks proliferated
BC2 I'd hoped would replace BF2, but ti just didnt have the same level of fun (most of the fighting seemed very formulaic e.g. start round and charge headfirst into another group doing exectly the same). Anyhoo general interest in BC2 seemed to fizzle out, seemed more like a chore to get the servers going than a fun gaming session. -------------------- |

Teamspeak has plenty of channels, so those who are playing games together have enough places to go.
As for the lack of recently, ive just been using the ingame chat a bit, but will try to remember to hop on in future. Shouldnt really be any problems tbh |

@Monkeyfiend - Now I see. Let's hope there's something nice and new on the horizon, I miss being 'naded at close range and stabbed . The be fair I think punkbuster might be failing BC2 also, was on a server the other day and pretty much every second was an aimbot ban notification. I'm guessing that must have been punkbuster catching up on the latest hacks however there have been many times recently when I have experienced impossible oppositions lol I wish I could just call it me being crap but I feel excessively dubious lol.

I think we were a bit spoilt with Monkeys excessively awesome anti-cheaty-hack-stuff which probably makes other servers look like hacktastic playgrounds tbh...
As for TS, i would be on, but I keep forgetting to bring my headset upstairs. -------------------- |
