This poll is for to see if want rank limits.

Reasoning:

• 10 minimum rank because need to learn game and play smaller server before LMB on 50p server.
• Over 70 rank player is too good player for 50p TO server so it = no.

Leave constructive critics.

I doubt anyone above the rank 70 has done in a legitimate way, so a yes from me.

Seems like another elitist based poll pointless thread just like the 1st person duel server poll. We run fun and friendly servers, available to all ranks regardless of skill. Every player has to learn somewhere...

i wanted to say no but there is no "no" option on poll.So it is bias poll.

I'm heavily against this. While lmb-spammers tend to be low rankers (who don't really remain that low because they still get kills from the spamming), a low ranker isn't neccesarilly a spammer. You'd exclude people who have no reason to be excluded from a fun, non-competitive server.

Secondly, the only reason I ever kept playing chivalry was because of the SM servers. They were fun, friendly and I could steal the occasional kill in the massive slaughter, allowing me to slowly learn the game without getting demotivated. I'm not about to take that opportunity away from others.

So uhmmm... NOOOOOOO!

Ofc, a yes for me, it will not cut a lot of people off the server, but frankly, rank below 10 are just so easy kill there is no glory in it, and above 70, we all know there is nothing legit in that. Maybe in few years, when Vash reaches it ^^

To Magick5 : the problem for the above 70 is pretty self explanatory. Below... I have never thing anyone below rank 10 do anything, and I have had feedback from a few friends of mine whom our server actually made rage more than anything else, because it's such a clusterfuck of players everywhere... I can see how you might view that at elitist, but to be honest, it would spare some Chivalry lives xD And anyway, it's not like rank 10 is that hard to come to, lots of people don't even come there before rank at least 20. At least it would preserve us from some players whom I have often seen just TK all the time because they are so lost.


And it would drive my effing impersonator away...

If this is all about the certain "chain feinting brandi user" who never ever even says sorry when he team-kills then why don't you just get rid of him? He was recently already kick voted because of that. (after several people asked him why he doesn't say sorry... he ignoring them of course)

It's not only about him (but the flood of "omg a rank 90 ! Whoaaaa! " is annoying).


Whe should also get rid of Darwin for his pebbles, because so far, it is the only thing that annoys me more than brandi feint. He just keeps mocking me, I feel bullied :,(

Don't worry Cam I upgraded the pebbles to heavy javelin for now... Quite hard to hit something with them because I never have used them before... If I could only get rid of that stupid shield that comes with those...

I have to agree with this, it is a bit unfair when a poor newb below rank 10 comes on to the SM servers and just gets absolutely destroyed, making them probably quite frustrated and may cause them to stop playing the game entirely because they had a bad experience (worst case scenario but it could happen). Let the lowbies practice among themselves I say; there are loads of servers for them to grow until they are ready to withstand the onslaught of both the Sneaky Monkeys and their OP regulars!

Don't worry Cam, I'm slowly switching to pebbles. Currently it's a toss up between pebbles and the light crossbow. Now, Cam, would you do me a favour and walk in front of me?


I disagree with this. It's on our servers that newbies (I was once one of them) can escape without being chased down, allowing them to live longer than on say, a 16 player server. You tend to be outmatched by anyone on any server anyway, but with us they still have a chance to retreat from the mayhem (and learn how useful that is instead of staying at the front line at all costs) and heal up. As much as we may dislike it, our servers are the perfect learning ground for new players. Well, compared to other servers anyway.

I'm 100% with Turbo and Magik on this. I'm sorry but I see absolutely no reason to go through with this idea.

It was always my belief that everyone regardless of rank or skill is welcome to our servers (as long as they follow the rules of course). This poll seems elitist and against the spirit of our server which I've always believed is not meant to be a serious competitive warzone but rather a chill-out playground open for everyone.

Edit: and seriously how many ranks 70+ have you ever seen? One? The JB/SWAGGOT guy? Please.

I would say NO (if my opinion counts).
Of course there are few good reasons. Under lvl 10 are maybe no challange in duel, but in the groups they are very dangerous too.
For the few guys above lvl 70. Nearly the only reason which was named was that they are "too good" and "cannot handle them". Thats a bad excuse to get rid of people. Yes of course they used a trick/bug/hack whatever to get above lvl 70 but i cannot see speedhacking or any other hack. I spectate Justin Bieber because of his good K/D and there was nothing good about him, just running with spear and stab all the time. I tried it by myself and it wasnt difficult at all.

For some its the disruption that is caused when he enters, players spamming omg lvl 90 etc.

Where is the "Don't let 4zK do another poll" option? I want to vote that.

Gunna vote no cause I have some <10 rank friends who love playing on SM server. Also, I enjoy wrecking GAY/SWAGGOT/whatever his name is for this week.
