We know the player you reported as "General Tanz". He has been banned on our servers for a long time, but instead of accepting that he is not welcome, he keeps creating new family-share accounts. We have banned over a dozen so far. His main is level 61 iirc and he is still very bad at this game

I'm not sure if he is hacking or just having massive packetloss from using a bad VPN. Based on the location he is playing from he should have 40-80 ms ping natively.

But don't worry we will ban him again, and again, and again.

I unbanned you, since it was my ban. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Let me tell you my usual procedure for dealing with high-ping (>180ms) players: After joining the server and in between respawns, I look through the player list and kick those players and specify the reason "XYZping". If there are more than five I sometimes just announce "pingpurge" in all-chat and kick them without giving a reason to save myself some time. If they come back with a ping under 250ms, I usually ban them for one hour at some point. Excessively high pings (260-300+ depending on the overall server load) will cause lag for everyone playing, so I usually ban them for ten hours.

"But why was I banned for over three days?" is probably what you are thinking at this point.

The "adminkickban" command uses seconds as a unit of measurement; ten hours are 36000 seconds. I probably typed 360000 by accident.
There is also a chance that I was mad after kicking too many players and took things too far by wanting to give everyone a 10 hour ban.

Edit: lol, nevermind. I guess that's what happens when somebody only puts in "ping" as a reason without using their name tag.

I started spectating you when I saw you attacking a teammate who had accidentally hit you in the back.

A few minutes later a vanguard on your team hit you.; he was a level 0 noob. Instead of blocking him and using the voice commands to say no, you attacked him, fought him for 30 seconds and teamkilled him.

This is the third time I banned you for doing that and this time it's permanent.

I don't think you attack teammates for fun; I think you attack them when getting hit by them upsets your poor little ego.

To get unbanned one has to make a convincing apology; assuming that what they did wasn't too vile.

You harassed someone for months, teamkilled him at least twice (in spawn) and tried to trick an admin into punishing him.

I also didn't think your apology was genuine and you last message confirmed this to me.

That button obviously doesn't protect from team kills, nor does it save the rest of the players from your spam.
