Welcome to the home of the Sneaky Monkeys!
The sneakymonkeys were formed in 2007 originally to play Battlefield2 and have fun in a cheat free environment. After a brief respite into the world of Left4Dead we're now playing Battlefield Bad Company 2. We're not about strict organisation and mandatory practices - we're just here to play games and enjoy ourselves - we're ranked amongst the top UK servers, so we must be doing something right! :P

Bad Company 2 beta is out today for those who pre-ordered the game. At present download server are toppling under the load, so I wouldn't plan on playing anytime soon.
To test the waters, =SM= has arranged for a 32 slot BC2 server. This server will go live when the game is fully released. The server providers have stated that during the beta there should be only public servers, that clan servers should not be available.
For those of you that are playing the beta, keep an eye on the forums for what public servers that clan are frequenting during the beta.
Now where did I put that noobtube...

As of today our @sneakymonkeys.com mail servers are being hosted externally by... Google. Those of you who have =SM= email accounts have been migrated to the new google mail servers (so all your old mails should be there).
Access to the mail server is still at:
http://mail.sneakymonkeys.com
If you don't have an account and want one then give me a shout (mail/forums/shoutbox etc.,)
On a technical note (MX record propagation) it may take up to 48 hours to become available, although I expect most people should already have access.
p.s. Now I've got a 25gb mailbox for you gits to try and fill up :P

K. Had made a post in the shoutbox, about a small league for L4D2 based at www.l4d2l.org
I'll make sure we have enough members signed up for it. It should do as a nice warmup for larger leagues and will give us a chance to try new stuff and field unusual teams.
If you're desperate to play, or already a member of the league site and want adding to the team, give me a shout.
12/18/2009=SM= vs TIS
Posted By: MonkeyFiend

A big thanks to Contender, Foxx, Cobolt (and me :P) for playing in the clan match against TIS.
Unfortunately we didn't storm to victory with the scores panning out as TIS:3121 vs SM:2809
TIS played very well and now that we've lulled them into a false sense of security am sure we can seek some vengence when a rematch comes up :D
As usual I'll upload the .dem files to http://sneakymonkeys.com/demos/ (will be in the next day or so as am on shoddy internet at the moment)
(generally just download and open them to play them in game, if that doesn't work further instructions are in the forums)
Anyway, thanks for the game guys :-)
12/02/2009Tonights Friendly
Posted By: MonkeyFiend

Congrats to 'al (also thx for organising), dan, hypo and fox for playing in tonights friendly against UKMD and TR.
A very close game with SM: 1280 and UKMD: 1271
I hope we'll be able to play a few more friendly matches soon as the closesly matched games are always good fun :)
As usual the .dem files (courtesy of Dan) are on http://sneakymonkeys.com/demos/
(generally just download and open them to play them in game, if that doesn't work further instructions are in the forums)
Anyway, thanks for the game guys :-)
11/19/2009=SM= Vs E-Frag
Posted By: MonkeyFiend

Thanks to all the =SM= members who turned up for the match tonight and a special thanks to E-frag staff (one of our game server providers) for being good sports.
Although the match had a fair share of connection problems, I think everyone had fun. =SM= won all 5 maps; the scores were SM:7172 vs eFrag:585.
For the morbidly curious out there, the .dem files are on http://sneakymonkeys.com/demos/ (generally just download and open them to play them in game, if that doesn't work further instructions are in the forums)
Anyway, thanks for the game guys :-)

Would like to thank Sennheiser for providing the game and headsets.
